St Margaret's Church, Huttoft, Lincolnshire

Huttoft is a small village 4.5 miles (7.2 km) east of the market town of Alford in the East Lindsey district of the county.

The stone Church of Saint Margaret is a charming Grade I Listed building. It was built during the 13th century, hewn of greenstone, limestone, and with some brick patching. The west tower heralds from the Saxon era, although an exact date is inconclusive.

The building was restored and repaired twice during the late 19th century and once more during the early 20th century. The font is 15th century, although the cover is not, and the churchyard cross is a Grade II Listed structure, which was also restored during the late 19th century.

The Anglican parish register entries date from the mid 16th century.
