St Batholomew's Church, Keelby, Lincolnshire

St. Bartholomew's is a friendly, welcoming church situated in the centre of Keelby village in the north of the county.
The building echoes back into the medieval past of the 12th century with pillars that correctly date it. The renovated east window, depicting the the crucifixion, is from the 13th century.
The tower was raised in the 17th century to accommodate three bells. It was found that the tower extension was causing the tower to lean towards the main body of the church so the main roof had to be raised to provide support.
Close to the south door there is a mason's mark dated 1699.
