Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre, Metheringham, Lincolnshire

Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre is a small museum that is supported by the Friends of Metheringham Airfield (FOMA).

Situated just outside the village of Martin, it is located on part of the former RAF Metheringham airfield, and recalls the life and times of this important Lancaster Bomber Station. Nearby are the remains of the runways and taxiways and a memorial to 106 Squadron.

Inside, there is an abundance of information and many displays of artefacts that relate to those flyers, aircrew and ground staff who flew and offered support to the squadron during its presence in Metheringham.

The museum is dedicated to those men and women who served at this wartime airfield from 1943 until the end of the Second World War.
