Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre, North Rauceby, Lincolnshire

The Royal Air Force College is perhaps the most famous landmark in RAF history. When it opened in 1920 it was the first military Air Academy in the world. Since then, many of the RAFs most famous pilots have graduated there.

The Centre portrays its history from the early days as a Royal Naval base to present day.

Admission is free along with parking.
