Uffington Riding Stables near Stamford, is a family run business. Lisa and her daughter Demi are passionate about horses and about teaching.
It's the perfect place to learn to ride, or even revisit a childhood hobby as an adult. The stables have horses and ponies to suit all levels of riders.
Equipment such as hats can be borrowed. But we recommend comfortable trousers or jodphurs and a boot with a small heel.
In addition to private and group lessons, hacks in the local countryside can be organised after an initial assesment of your riding ability.
Lisa and Demi also run a livery yard half a mile down the road which caters for DIY, full or part livery.
