North Shore Beach, Skegness, Lincolnshire

Skegness is a famous seaside town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of the county and looks out onto the North Sea.

The first Butlins holiday resort was opened in Skegness in 1936. Partially owing to this, the resort is one of the better known seaside resorts in the United Kingdom.

Superb long stretches of sandy beach, sand banks, elevated dunes, long walks along the coastline. Further inland families and friends can discover traditional seafront rides, amusement arcades, cafes, coastal shops, stalls selling fish and chips, ice cream, doughnuts, sweets and drinks.

The perfect day trip.
