Thorpe Camp, Tattershall, Lincolnshire

The Thorpe Camp visitor centre is all about preserving Lincolnshire's recent history.

Home of the 97, 619, 617 (Dambusters) and the 627 Squadron that flew out of RAF Woodhall Spa in the 1940's, the Preservation Group established the centre in 1988 to commemorate those airmen who flew during World War II.

It has now expanded to include civilian life in the county with exhibits and touch screen multimedia. A great day out for all the family, Special Groups and Schools.
