Bourne Town FC are members of the United Counties League Division One and play at Abbey Lawn.

The club was established in 1883. The first league they played in was the Peterborough & District League in which they were Division One champions three times.

In the late 1940s and 1950s the club played in the United Counties League but experienced poor seasons. By the late 1950s they had switched to Division One South of the Central Alliance.

In 1961 they joined the newly-reformed Midland League but returned to the United Counties League and were placed in Division One. They finished as runners-up in their first season back.

The club have been crowned United Counties League champions five times and won numerous other leagues and cup competitions.
