Barton Clay Pits Visitor Centre, Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire

The Barton Clay Pits once supplied clay for thriving brick and tile-making industries have now been flooded and transformed into a nature reserve.
The Clay Pits Nature Reserve covers a 5 mile area along the Humber bank offering attractive walks and opportunities to view local wildlife, especially a large variety of birds. The nature reserve also provides excellent views of the Humber Bridge.
This is also a great place to visit for those interested in water-based activities with the North Lincolnshire Sailing Club and the Humber Bridge Water Ski Club offering all year round activities.
