The Water's Edge Country Park & Visitor Centre, Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire
The Waters Edge Country Park, north of Barton-Upon-Humber, on the edge of the Humber estuary, has something to offer all ages.
It features an intensely diverse variety of plant and wildlife and several rare species. It was established in the mid 1990s across clay quarries, freshwater lakes, rare saltmarsh and mudflat.
The splendid Visitors Centre contains interactive displays, a cafe and facilities and from here there are many signposted walks to explore.
