This 15th century former village forge and lovely garden are in a peaceful spot in the unspoilt village of Thurlby. The Fens are natural cycling country and Rutland Water, an important area for bird life, offers a great choice of watersports and walks - great for activity breaks and walking and cycling holidays. Visit Belvoir Castle, Burghley House and nearby market towns for a day out exploring.
The hostel is self catering only, but there's a public house in the village that serves food. The hostel is only available to 'Escape' from mid-September to mid-March.
YHA is a charity with a clear mission to inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons gaining knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery.
