Grantham House, Grantham, Lincolnshire
Originally a country residence but over time it was gradually surrounded by the growing town of Grantham. Dating from 1380 and reportedly subject to a number of hauntings, most of the building seen today dates from the 16th - 18th centuries.
Both Princess Margaret, the daughter of Henry VII and Cardinal Wolsey lodged at Grantham House.
