Situated in the heart of historic Lincoln, The Collection brings together Lincoln’s archaeology museum and the Usher Gallery in one fantastic visitor centre.
The archaeology gallery tells the story of Lincolnshire’s fascinating heritage through artefact rich displays and reconstructions, hands-on activities, touch-screen games, and the chance to dress up in authentic historical costumes.
The Usher Gallery is Lincolnshire’s premier art gallery displaying a diverse collection of fine and decorative arts, including loans from national collections, and a vibrant programme of temporary exhibitions supported by the Arts Council.
To keep the children occupied there is a play area for the under fives along with games, dressing up and interactive activities for the older children.
