Sincil Dike, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
The Sincil Dyke watercourse leaves the Witham at Altham Terrace, flows east under Bargate Bridge, and Little Bargate bridge, before turning north along Sincil Bank.
It functioned as a defensive barrier and was a natural property boundary but there is no record of it having been used to transport goods.
