St James' Church, Louth, Lincolnshire
Magnificent on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The parish church has the tallest spire (295 feet) of any medieval parish church in the country.
The church we see today dates mainly from the 15th century but was built on the site of much older buildings going back as far as the 11th century.
