The Greenwich Meridian, Louth, Lincolnshire
During the late 19th century a standardized zero degrees longitude was agreed and became known as the Greenwich Meridian.
It is the world’s Prime Meridian for measuring longitude and travels north to south across the globe.
Interestingly, the line passes through Cordeaux High School, one of only three schools worldwide to sit exactly on the Meridian.
