Broadbent Theatre, Wickenby, Lincolnshire
The Broadbent Theatre is owned and operated by Lindsey Rural Players, registered charity number 1007448.
It is a unique venue of 100 seats with a wide variety of performances. It also plays host to several visiting companies, both amateur and professional.
Built in 1878, it was converted from a Methodist Chapel in 1971 with the name taken from Roy Broadbent who was among those involved in the conversion.
The son of Roy, actor Jim Broadbent, is the Honorary President of LRP.
