Winterton Sculpture Trail, Winterton, Lincolnshire

The Winterton Sculpture Trail is a project delivered by National Lottery funded organisation Winterton 2022, which is driven by a volunteer committee of Winterton residents, and is part of the Big Local.

During 2017, Winterton 2022 commissioned the production of a number of tractor and owl sculptures to form the basis of a sculpture trail for the town of Winterton.

Since then community groups and organisations based in the town have designed and created the artwork in a series of workshops with local artists Fiona Caley and Mandy Keating. The groups range from all three Winterton Schools, to the Winterton Disabled Club and 1st Winterton Brownies, with more than 600 children and adults involved in creating sculptures.

The Winterton Sculpture Trail comprises of 26 tractor and owl sculptures located around the town of Winterton and was launched in May 2018. It is free to follow at any time between Friday 25th May and Friday 14th September.

We ask that visitors do not encroach on private property and respect the gardens of residents who are kindly displaying sculptures. Most of all, we hope you enjoy the trail and share in the pride of the groups and individuals who have contributed to the artwork on display.
