Woolsthorpe Manor, Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth, Lincolnshire
The birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton in 1642. He made many of his most important discoveries about light and gravity here and you can still see the famous apple tree from Newton's bedroom window.
